Braiding Horsehair

Years back, we had a neighbor who was a horse trader. As the winter dragged on, he became short on hay while being long on hungry horses. Uncharacteristically, my father had extra hay, so he sold several tons to the trader to get him through to green grass. “Sold” is a loosely defined term in horse trading but since no money changed hands, the transaction became more of a loan secured by horse-apples. It was weak collateral. Green grass came with the trader comfortably ignoring this hay debt, but as a final solution, he offered a horse as payment. As we were short on horse flesh, we reluctantly agreed, expecting little more than a lame jughead. To our surprise the horse was a decent three-year-old gelding who impressed us more with every ride. Our feelings of good tidings and great joy vaporized the instant a youngster from a neighboring ranch innocently asked when we would be done training his horse. Apparently, the trader agreed to place 30 rides on this horse in trade for previously rendered goods and services. The horse went home and we were left holding horse-apples.

The trader in question was a master at robbing Peter to pay Paul and things were going swimmingly until future transactions became so tangled the Department of Corrections (DOC) invited him to stay at their all-inclusive resort. I am uncertain as to the length of his time away, but it was long enough for him to learn to braid horsehair into bridles and here is why this is timely.

Teaching offenders to braid horsehair as punishment for being less than truthful only applies to horse traders. Promoting half-truths, twisting the truth, or bald-faced lying is championed as the supreme ideal amongst bureaucrats, big pharma executives, and establishment medical professionals. Anyone telling you the Covid gene jab is safe and effective is as guilty of a crime as a cowboy who traded or sold a horse belonging to someone else.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton recently filed suit against Pfizer for false, deceptive and misleading acts and practices. Per the suit, Pfizer’s claim their jab was 95 percent effective should be more accurately labeled as being 0.85 percent. Pfizer’s own data showed 21 test vaccinates succumbed to all-cause mortality, while only 17 of the placebo group expired during the same period. These two points alone disprove the safe and effective mantra so those who continue to promote the state approved narrative need to check into the DOC and learn to braid horsehair.
