Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow so we should expect six more weeks of winter. I could live with Montana’s spring arriving in mid-March rather than early May but apparently Phil’s forecast only applies to Pennsylvania. Basing meteorological forecasts on rodents is like trusting the marmots who predicted shuttering businesses, masking faces and social distancing would flatten the Covid curve. It is all folklore. Punxsutawney Phil knows his predictions are nonsense while Washington Tony believes his to be science. Phil made his predictions and then retreated to his den for another year while Tony straps on his mask and pontificates every Sunday morning. Collectivists have been crazy for two years and just when I think they have emptied their bag of stupid, a new breakthrough strain of insanity escapes the lab.

Last week, I received an e-mail from our largest pharmaceutical supplier stating veterinarians should expect shipping delays due to winter storm Landon. It was nice to get a heads-up, but one would need to be especially disinformed to believe the fault is due to the snowflakes of Landon. To the contrary, the bottlenecking of pills is compliments of the woke Canadian prime minister and his ilk. Princess Justin and other progressive world leaders are following Washington Tony’s lead on how to best to crush liberty. Globally, those who will not kneel, roll up their sleeves and submit to the stroke poke are to be excommunicated from society. For a Canadian pureblood to purchase groceries, Princess Justin decreed they must be accompanied by a Health Warden who makes certain they only buy essentials—no Twinkies, tobacco, or tequila for the non-vaxxed.

There is a freedom convoy of Canadian and American patriots who will no longer sit on the sidelines and watch this Superbowl of stupid. They are mad as hell and are not going to take it anymore.
