The Dead Chicken Test

One year ago, my Kimmel descendants moved from Great Falls, Montana, to San Angelo, Texas. Apparently down south, chickens are treated like hot water heaters, so poultry ownership transfers with the real estate deed. Thus 19 laying hens and two ducks suddenly fell under the care of the ten mini-Kimmels with nine-year-old Cora being particularly interested in chicken farming. Each chicken earned a nickname so there was a Bob, Optimus Prime and Pooper and today’s story involves Pooper.

Last week, John ran in the house hollering that Pooper was dead. All the kids, or at least the ones who were mostly clothed, sprinted to the chicken house. Cora swept Pooper into her arms, slipped through the gate, and marched towards the house. Daughter Meagan, the dam of this clan, met Cora in the yard and solemnly asked, “Are you sure she is dead?” expecting Cora to look for signs of life. Such was not the case.

Cora extended her arms and from a height of four feet, six inches, she dropped Pooper to the ground. “Yep, she is dead,” Cora announced with the certainty of a nine-year-old poultry pathologist. No one seemed too distraught with the passing of just one chicken, but had John found half the chickens dead or dying the event would have captured everyone’s notice, especially mine. Avian influenza is sweeping the nation again as it did in 2015 but this time there is a complicating factor which will make this poultry pandemic particularly newsworthy.

Highly pathogenic avian influenza, HPAI, is an asymptomatic disease of migratory waterfowl and is spread to domestic poultry by direct contact or in contaminated feed and water. Outbreaks are treated by depopulating the infected flocks plus all others within a 6.2-mile radius of infected premises. Interestingly, avian influenza can be spread to humans and a caretaker of an infected flock in Colorado recently began complaining of fatigue. The CDC said nasal swabs of the individual were PCR positive for HPAI viral particles. If this person develops antibodies to HPAI they will be considered the first US, human confirmed case, and this brings me to my point

The Covid and stroke poke scam has proven the CDC is a left-wing activist operation with the scientific credibility of a dead chicken. Like the FDA, NIH, big pharma, and the ruling elite, they are liars. Because 2022 is an election year, all regular influenza and Covid deaths will be called bird flu so the CDC can endorse mail-in ballots to protect voters from the bird flu pandemic. It worked in 2020.
