The Smell Test

Decades back, I saw a blue heeler who had suffered a severe gunshot wound to his nose. There was no entry or exit wound to his lips but only the skin over his nose and the mucous membrane on the roof of his mouth remained intact. Everything else—the teeth, the upper jaw, the nasal turbinates—were gone, likely splattered across some sagebrush hillside. I anesthetized him, debrided the wound and sutured the remnant of the hard palate to his lips. Post op, he looked normal other than when he shook his head “no” his nose lagged a cycle behind. Because he was a heeler, he fully recovered, and his owners claimed he could pass the smell test by finding dog food nuggets buried in the snow. I doubted that, as his smelling apparatus was vaporized so I will leave that debate hanging while I jump to a related subject.

In the American Journal of Therapeutics, America’s Frontline Doctors recently published a review of studies evaluating the effectiveness of ivermectin against the CCP virus. Read it again. The first time I read the paper the word “anosmia” threw me. This is a human medical term describing the loss of the sense of smell, a completely meaningless symptom to veterinarians so it was never discussed in vet school. Ageusia, the loss of the sense of taste, is an equally useless term in my profession yet it too permeates the Covid literature. Everything else in the paper can be easily understood by individuals fluent in logic and reason but mask-mandators and needle Nazis will find nothing of value in its 20 pages. Answer me this: Knowing the prophylactic and therapeutic effects of ivermectin on Covid, why is the ruling class concealing the truth and justifying the jab? This contradiction does not pass the smell test, and this brings me to my point.

For a vaccine to obtain Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) it must prevent a disease for which there is no treatment. Therefore, if the ruling class accepted hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin as effective treatments for Covid-19 there would be no pandemic, no EUA for the mRNA shot, and the flood of billions of dollars to big pharma from the treasury would stop. Obviously, the government response to the Covid pandemic is not about saving lives, it is about promoting the poke. If you are not curious why, you are part of the problem.
