There is one in Every Pen

Step out of your feed truck and crawl through the bunk into the pen.  Every feedlot has that high-headed steer that bolts to the back fence.  His hysteria is infectious and soon all critters in the pen join him in a pulsating ball of panic that continuously circles in the far corner.  The lead steer prances in the mob’s center stretching his head high above the others and he is watching your every move.  One quick jerk by you will send all 200 fat steers through the fence and down the road.  Tread carefully. 

Figuratively, Al Gore is a high-headed fat steer.  For 10 years he has circled the pen trying to create man-caused global warming hysteria amongst the other critters.  The instant he thinks he has you all panicked he will give the command to bolt through the fence.  Quit running in circles and calm down. Let’s study the five things that prove earth’s recent warming trend is caused by human activity:

Read them again, I will wait a moment so you can study all five.  (This isn’t a trick, there is no proof.)

 With voters panicked about a natural phenomenon over which we have no control Congressman John Dingell (D-MI) is drafting legislation hyped by Al Gore.  Here is their solution:

• $50 per ton tax on all carbon including coal, petroleum products and natural gas.
• $.50 cent increase in the tax on gas, jet fuel, and kerosene.
• Phase out the mortgage interest deduction on larger homes (those over 3000 square feet) unless carbon credits are purchased to certify the house is carbon neutral.

 So, exactly how does sending more tax dollars to Washington or Helena lower the surface temperature of the earth?  It doesn’t.  But then, it’s not about the climate; it’s about control.  You are being told to panic and run through the fence.  Will you? 

The ’09 Montana legislature will hear over 100 bills similar to that proposed by Congressman Dingell.  If the liberals are in the majority, those bills will become law and you can expect your utility bills to increase 5 fold.  If it cost $200 to heat your house last month you best budget $1000 for December of 2010.  (I hope you are not on a fixed income.)  Just like walking through a pen of panicked feedlot steers, I suggest you vote very, very carefully.
