What's the Deal with Michael Vick?

Why the outrage over Michael Vick?  He was only doing his job.  The choice was made that certain individuals were unwanted, and would become a burden so they were given a death sentence.  Michael Vick killed them using a variety of violent methods and disposed of them in the landfill.  In this country and by today’s standards, not only is this killing accepted it is paid for with tax dollars.

 Oops, perhaps I misled you.  I am not referring to Michael Vick, the dog fighting NFL quarterback. I am speaking of Michael Vick MD, the doctor who provides abortion services for Planned Parenthood.  Let’s take a good look at the doctor’s life.

 Dr. Vick’s work schedule has become routine. Of the dozen lives he will take today, the only uncertainty is whether those non-viable tissue masses quit struggling as their arms are torn from their tiny bodies, or will they fight on until they are eviscerated?  It matters little as amniotic fluid rushing over vocal cords produces no sound; their terrified screams are heard only by God.  Doctor Vick works in peace.  

Since the 1973 Roe vs. Wade decision, 44.5 million American lives have been sacrificed in the name of choice and convenience.  Get a grip on that number, 44.5 million.  That is more lives lost due to abortion than those lost in all of this nation’s 12 wars combined…64 times as many.  The D-Day invasion is the bloodiest day in history with 53,714 allied soldiers killed the first 24 hours.  World wide that many lives are lost due to an abortion every 9 hours, every day, year after year.  Where is the outrage?

 A frightening conflict exists amongst this nation’s leftists:  They vehemently attack quarterback Michael Vick. Yet, they give abortion provider Michael Vick a pass.  Is that not inconsistent?  Many of them will viscerally attack me for mentioning this dichotomy.  They will curse and slander my very existence. But the wounds I will receive are minor compared to the true casualties in this war.  Since you began reading this column two minutes ago, four tiny Americans have lost their lives due to abortion.  That pains me at a level I cannot find the words to describe.  Does it you? It should.
